Mr chimps has been djing for about 8 years starting of in his bedroom making mix tapes/cds before being supported by local promoters - never seen us coming playing at local events such as its a garage thing and sunday club @ yates camberley, he entered the 2009 dj comp hosted by platinum promotions @ the square bar even though he didnt win the comp his skills were noticed and soon after seeing him play at events held by platinum promotions and in the summer 2010 joing platinum promotions in FALIRAKI playing alongside KISS 100 DJ PIONEER, he has also played in clubs such at TRU, DUSK, THE LEIGION and many more....

Whitty's first memory of music was around the age of 5 when he used to listen to old tapes and records round his Nan and Grandad's house, then eventually at home, when he was bought a CD and tapeplayer.

At around 9 years old, his love for music escalated, when he used to listen to the weekly chart show on Radio 1, and thus buying a lot of compilation albums and singles, from the 'Now' series to 'Club Mix CDs'

At around 12 years old, Whitty was getting into the UK Garage/Drum and Bass sounds. He was then introduced to a few pirate radio stations including Freeze and Flex FM, recording a lot of sets from the best DJs around onto tapes.

As his love for the music was growing, he eventually bought some turntables at the age of 17, learning the skills of how to mix, buying everything from Drum and Bass, Garage to Hip Hop/RnB. He has been to over 40 record shops over the years, picking up contacts and useful tips along the way.

At the age of 20, he upgraded to the legendary 1210 MK 2 turntables. Still in mint condition today, Whitty still loves his vinyl and will continue to try and keep vinyl alive!

His love for music is as strong as ever today, looking to snare the odd classic if available... He has played on 'Ice Cold FM' and is looking to stay on radio and push the underground music he loves today to the pub...

Freddy 2step has been djing now for 2 years and in that time he has come along way.

He started on vinyl mixing every classic you could think of in the UKG scene.

He has been on a few radio stations now Hightz Fm, Mp3-heaven.net and Upfrontsoundz.com.

He now dj's every friday night at Bentleys Bar in Romford, playing everything from chart, R'n'B, Bashment, Funky, House & Garage.

Since joining Upfrontsoundz he has really made a name for himself bringing BIG names from the UKG scene on his weekly show, from AdeNaz Productions, Mc Shado Kane, Mc Messy, Mc Sel & Dj Fox.

This is definitely a dj to watch for the future with is unique style of mixing, plus he has always got a exclusive to showcase from the UKG scene every week.
